Write Bloody Publishing's annual poetry tour made it's first trip to the Backdoor Playhouse on Thursday, October 22, 2009, with The Elephant Engine High Dive Revival featuring stimulating spoken word performances from Write Bloody President Derrick Brown, Pushcart Prize nominee Anis Mojgani, founder of the NYC-Urbana Poetry Slam series Cristin O’Keefe Aptowicz, and Bowery Poetry Club barkeep Shappy Seasholtz.
